Aliko Dangote is set to
invest over N41 billion into a sugar factory which has been acquired by
his company. The factory is located in Jigawa state.
Dangote made the announcement to the press yesterday,
after meeting with Jigawa state governor, Sule Lamido.
“We are hoping to commence work in the factory
this September because production of sugar is a seasonal business and the
season is quite short, we also hope to include offshore industries like milk
diary factory and poultry farming,” Dangote said.
