A Cambodian court yesterday convicted a
36-year-old Nigerian woman, Collin
Seniola Bosede, for cross-border
drug trafficking.
Bosede was arrested at
Phnom Penh International Airport in August last year. She was in possession of
1.5kg worth of crystal methamphetamine, which she allegedly imported from
Nigeria, Global Post reports.
In addition to being charged for illegally
smuggling a drug substance, the court has fined her $10,000.
According to Cambodian law, the accused has one month to appeal the verdict.
