Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the new Emir
of Kano finally entered his palace to begin ascension to the throne.
The former CBN governor arrived at the palace
late afternoon today Friday 13th May 2014, from the Kano state government house
where he lodged.
He conducted the Asr prayer inside the palace
mosque upon arrival. Sanusi was received by hundreds who cheered as he rode a
white horse to the palace.
A guard unleashed gunshots as he made his way
into the palace.
