Boko Haram Strikes Again In Borno, Scores Allegedly Dead



Reports just coming in indicate that gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram sect on Thursday, 24 July, 2014, invaded Garubula village of Biu local Government area of Borno state, northern Nigeria.
According to a report published by Vanguard online, among the victims of the insurgents attack was the District Head of Garubula village, Alhaji Ibrahim Dawi and 11 others.
As at the time of compiling this report, details of the attack are still being expected.

Meanwhile, another report coming from the area stated that two people, suspected to be members of vigilante youths, a.k.a. Civilian JTF, were on Wednesday, 23 July, 2014, dragged from their houses to a river bank in Gamboru Ngala border town with Cameroon Republic and slaughtered by suspected terrorists group.
Speaking with BBC Hausa service programme, Senator Ahmed Zanna, Representing Borno Central, confirmed the slaughtering of the two members of the vigilante youths in Gamboru Ngala.
Another source informed that two people suspected to be motorist and passenger were ambushed and shot dead along Maiduguri – Gamboru Ngala road.
